Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is expecting big things from Julian Alvarez.
The Argentina striker signed for City in January before being loaned back to River Plate for six months.
Guardiola said: "If we recruited him, it was to have him with us.
"We think he's a player for us. Julian feels the goal and a goal is worth money. At City, we saw it as an opportunity for the future.
"He will be with us in the next preseason."
