Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has stated that defender Kyle Walker-Peters is fit to play.
The Saints are set to take on Newcastle United in the Premier League, after they lost their last game to Aston Villa.
The 24-year-old came off the bench in the Villa loss, having suffered a hamstring injury in their FA Cup fifth-round win over West Ham United.
"Yes, he's okay," Hasenhuttl said.
"The good thing is that we have a few alternatives in this position and we don't need to risk anything.
"This is the reason why I left him out at first (against Villa), but he is a fantastic player and we want him to be on the pitch, normally.
"Especially because he can play different positions and I am happy that he is absolutely ok."
