Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl has no complaints about Newcastle playing their January signings tomorrow night.

Hasenhuttl had originally questioned why teams would be allowed to play January additions in postponed games.

But he said today: "It is strange to concentrate on a game you should have played two months ago, against a completely different team. It is how it is. This doesn't impact us; we are also better than two months ago and are ready for the challenge.

"It isn't on me to talk about their team. We knew the transfer window would give them the chance to change their team. They did; it was expected. No matter which players are coming here, we are looking forward to this game.

"We have a similar challenge to the Villa game, they play very similarly. They are aggressive. I watched their game against Brighton; there were aggressive tackles. It is important that the referee sets the rule. We will not be surprised again.
