Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun reminded the public that the State’s Covid-19 situation is not stable yet despite cases falling below the 2,000 mark.
“The high percentage of sporadic infections in 22 out of 27 districts in Sabah is a sign that Sabah has not reached the stabilisation phase and a drastic yoyo trend is expected to occur,” he said, Wednesday, adding that Sabah’s sporadic rate was 60.65 per cent. He added that the rise of cases in several districts is also a clear sign that the caseload is expected to increase in the near future.
Sabah’s cases rose slightly to 1,352 on Wednesday from 1,216 the day earlier, while the death tally rose to 18.
Kota Belud topped the death tally with six fatalities, followed by three in Kota
