Mikel Arteta says Bukayo Saka is not seriously injured after being substituted against Aston Villa on Saturday.

The Englishman scored the only goal of the match at Villa Park, helping Arsenal maintain their top-four lead.

Arteta withdrew Saka after 69 minutes, but the move was just precautionary.

Speaking after the game, Arteta said: "He was really fatigued as well.

"After Liverpool he had an issue in his hip and he's played a lot of minutes and you could tell.

"We didn't want to risk him because he has to go with England now so we decided to take him off."
