Brighton manager Graham Potter thinks Marc Cucurella's game can go to another level.

The Spanish left-back has transitioned seamlessly into English football after signing for Albion from Getafe last summer.

Cucurella was one of Brighton's best performers in the loss to Liverpool last weekend, and Potter is excited by his potential.

Potter told reporters: "No, there is another level.

"This is his first season in the Premier League with us so he is adapting to it all the time but he's been fantastic since he's been with us.

"I think he had the challenge of [Mohamed] Salah first and then [Sadio] Mane when they made the substitutions, you can see how much he tries and gives his best - I think he did it well."
