Tottenham coach Antonio Conte does not believe his side are traditional top four favourites.
The Italian, who has never been shy of admitting his high standards at clubs in the past, knows that finishing in the Champions League places is this season's target.
While he has embraced the challenge, Conte also admitted that the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City are usually the pre-season favourites to secure those spots.
"I always say in England there are four teams in my opinion - City, United, Chelsea, Liverpool - that unless something goes wrong, the top four are these four clubs in my opinion," he told reporters.
"But it can happen, as last season Liverpool struggled until the end for a place in the Champions League.
"In this season United are struggling, and in this case, in this moment, there are three or four teams including Tottenham. We have to stay very close and fight."
