Jose Salomon Rondon admits Everton's problems this season are difficult to explain.
Rondon spoke with Radio Marca before Sunday's home defeat to Wolves.
He said, "The current situation does not reflect the real quality of what the team is.
"Football is like that sometimes, unpredictable, you don't know where things are going to turn out... I remember that situation in Las Palmas, because we lost matches. In the end we were able to lift it with a good run and save the division.
"But yes, it is an unpleasant situation and it generates some anxiety because of what Everton represents for the Premier and the number of fans it attracts worldwide. I have been able to receive the closeness of the fans from different parts of the world. It is a complicated situation for everyone and we hope to be able to turn it around soon."
