Burnley boss Sean Dyche says they host Leicester City tonight full of confidence.
The Clarets welcome Brendan Rodgers' Foxes to Lancashire for a fixture under the floodlights, aiming to extend a positive run which has seen them lose just once in seven outings.
Dyche said, “I didn't think we were far off in the season in general, we're not the real deal and we know that, we're constantly a work in progress like most teams are, and we always believe in what we do and what the players are trying to do.
“I'm forever proud of the players here, working so hard to try and get results and win games, and that goes beyond results. They are getting the rewards for their mentality, we've got the basics of the team right and the players deserve a lot of credit for it.
“It's trying to continue that with the performances, but the game doesn't wait for you, you have to go and deliver.
“We have to earn the right, and that's our mindset. We have to keep going and take on each game as it comes, but keep in mind that the last one doesn't make the next one in the Premier League, and we've made sure that our consistency has been right over the last seven games. We'll keep going and keep building on top of that."
Dyche also said: “The fans have been tremendous, they have been for the years that I've been here, and the numbers that we take away, and the percentage of the town is incredible.
“The fans were amazing in the United game and we delivered a very strong second-half, and the same against Tottenham.
“The fans get it, and they will get behind us. They back their players as long as they give their all, and they are giving their all.
"It allows the players the freedom to go and play if the crowd are behind them, and this fanbase have been for a very long-time now. They stay steadfast and always back the team, and that's from my first promotion."
