KOTA KINABALU: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) is now a registered political coalition in Sabah, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor who is also GRS Chairman.
Hajiji who is also Sabah Perikatan Nasional (PN) Chairman and Sabah Bersatu Chief said he received the GRS registration certificate from the Registrar of Society (ROS), on Friday.
He announced this while speaking at the official launching of Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM), here, Sunday.
GRS was registered following the requests by leaders of its component parties. The coalition consists PN, Barisan Nasional (BN) and Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS).
Hajiji also welcomed the interest shown by KDM to join GRS, saying he will bring the matter for discussion among the GRS component parties.
