Leicester City midfielder Wilfried Ndidi says manager Brendan Rodgers hasn't changed as the team has stumbled this season.

Ndidi says Rodgers continues to give the players belief.

He told talkSPORT: "He's the same Brendan Rodgers, he's the same man, he's the same manager.

“He's always pushing us. When you lose, sometimes your confidence gets down.

“He's there backing us up and pushing because he believes in our qualities.

“We're happy to have him."

Another source of inspiration is Jamie Vardy, who marked his return to action after injury with a goal in the much-needed 2-0 win over Burnley earlier this week.

“He's so massive for us," said Ndidi of Vardy. “He's hungry, he's a winner, he wants to score goals. It's very good to have him back, we're very happy to have him back.

“We look forward to what he's going to do next."
