
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's new Covid-19 cases dropped to 596 today, among the lowest numbers since the ongoing Omicron wave started in early February.
Today's caseload was 173 cases fewer than yesterday, according to an update shared by spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.
97.48 percent of today's new cases were asymptomatic or light infections.
Masidi also cautioned that sporadic infections remained high at 66.28 percent.
Two clusters in Tawau and Nabawan were also declared closed today.
