El Clásico menu to be enjoyed in Kuala Lumpur

A delicious and unique LaLiga initiative will be launched in 10 Asian countries where you can enjoy a special meal inspired by the match between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

March 14, 2022 El Clásico, the world’s most exciting sporting spectacle, which pits Real Madrid and against eternal rivals, FC Barcelona will take place on March 20. To celebrate this exciting match, fans of football and gastronomy in Malaysia will be able to enjoy a special menu inspired by the game. It will be available for order from tomorrow, Thursday March 10, from restaurant Porkville in Kuala Lumpur. The menu will include some dishes like Gambas al Ajillo and Patatas Bravas, representing Los Blancos, Real Madrid, which are some of the most typical dishes from the city of Madrid. On the other hand, the menu will also feature Butifarra, a typical product from Catalonia, the region of FC Barcelona. The special menu will be available for lunch and dinner from March 13 to 20. “We wanted to bring the essence of this exciting match to LaLiga fans in Malaysia. Spain, like Malaysia, is a country with a delicious cuisine and where passion for football is a part of the culture, and with this menu we are combining these two delights. Once again, we are very proud to be able to share a LaLiga initiative in the country,” stated Adrian Prol, LaLiga’s delegate in Malaysia.

Malaysia joins other Asian countries where special menus will also be available for this exciting match between two of the best clubs in LaLiga. ‘Taste of El Clásico’, as this original and unique proposal is known, can now be enjoyed in Malaysia as well as in Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, China, the Philippines, Korea, Japan, Indonesia and Australia.

As well as enjoying Spain’s famous cuisine, guests ordering from the ‘Taste of El Clásico’ menu will be entered into a prize draw to win merchandise from the match being played by some of the world’s best football stars, such as Benzemá, Courtois, Aubameyang and de Jong, among others. In addition, Porkville restaurant has a special area set up for the match. The fixture will take place next Sunday March 20 at 4:00 am local time and can be seen on BeINSports.
