Barcelona fullback Jordi Alba wants Ousmane Dembele to sign a new contract and stay.
Dembele, whose contract expires at the end of this season, has been at a standstill in his negotiation talks with Barcelona, basically ever since the club wanted to get rid of him in January.
However, the 24-year-old has had a revival since the January transfer window, with seven assists and one goal in his last five LaLiga Santander matches.
"I think they should [renew Dembele's contract]," Alba told El Larguero. "In his position, he is one of the best in the world by far.
"He is motivated, and I don't know what he is going to do, but I hope he stays."
