SHAH ALAM, March 22 — Two districts in Selangor are expected to undergo thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds, said the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).
In a statement issued by the agency at 9am, MetMalaysia said the districts are Klang and Kuala Selangor, which will experience bad weather until 11am.
“The warning is issued when there are signs of thunderstorms with rainfall intensity exceeding 20mm/hour which are expected to occur over the one-hour duration.
“Thunderstorms warning is a short-term warning which is valid within six hours after it was issued,” said MetMalaysia.
