RB Leipzig chief Oliver Mintzlaff has denied reports they plan to jettison Ilaix Moriba at the end of the season.

Currently on-loan with Valencia, it's been claimed RBL will seek to offload the former Barcelona midfielder over attitude problems.

But Mintzlaff said, "Ilaix Moriba is an exceptional talent and we are very happy to have signed him.

"He is on loan until June 2022 and then he will return to Leipzig. He plays regularly and is developing very well.

"We are proud to have these great talents for the long term."
