Spain U21 coach Luis de la Fuentes insists there's no grudge against Eze Abde and Ilaix Moriba.
While both youngsters played for Spain at youth level, Barcelona winger Abde has just announced his commitment to Morocco, while Ilaix, currently on-loan with Valencia from RB Leipzig, is now playing for Guinea.
De la Fuentes told AS: "These players have a lot of pressure from their environment and from their countries of origin.
"They have to decide freely. We have our doors open to all the great footballers. Whoever wants to be, he will be, and whoever doesn't, will be respected."
De la Fuentes also commented on Barcelona pair Pedri and Gavi.
"When people like Pedri or Gavi are competing at that level, something that is not easy, is because the player's ability demands it. Players like that are so good that if you trust them they can do anything."
