Scott Parker was delighted for Ethan Laird to make his Bournemouth debut last weekend.
The defender, on loan from Manchester United, came on as a substitute in the 2-1 victory over Stoke City at Vitality Stadium.
Speaking to the Daily Echo post-match, Parker said: "Ethan, I was pleased (for).
"He has obviously not had a lot of football since he has been here, so I was pleased for him."
Laird spent the first half of the season at Swansea City before switching to Bournemouth.
