Brighton manager Graham Potter has admitted his side lacked the quality to beat Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday.

Spurs ran out 2-0 winners at the AMEX thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Cristian Romero.

And Potter says his side must continue to work hard in order to snap their six game losing streak.

He told reporters: "Hard work is the answer. The effort was there but you could see the difference in quality between the two teams to be fair.

"They've got some good players, which is an understatement. You can only fight for the ball which we did but the difference in quality was clear.
