Brighton fullback Tariq Lamptey has pulled out of the England U21 squad.
Lamptey has returned home and will not feature in the Euro 2023 qualifiers against Andorra in Bournemouth on Friday or away to Albania on Tuesday.
No replacement has been called up by boss Lee Carlsey ahead of the Group G games.
Lamptey has been in fine form for Brighton this season, with 22 premier League appearances following a lengthy layoff last campaign.
Seagulls boss Graham Potter will be hoping Lamptey's illness is not too serious and will be available after the international break.
Brighton are in desperate need of a win after losing their last six games. They will take on Norwich on April 2.
