Kota Kinabalu: The State Cabinet has instructed the Ministry of Industrial Development (MID) to review the State Sales Tax (SST) on scrap metal exports of RM200 per metric tonne, which came into force on February 1, this year.
Deputy Chief Minister cum Industrial Development Minister Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam said the SST of RM200 per metric tonne would continue to be implemented until the study is completed.
