Former Brighton defender Mark Lawrenson says they have a goalscoring problem.
Albion have struggled to convert chances at time this season and have only scored 26 goals in the Premier League, this record is only better than four other sides in the division.
"It is a lack of goals basically, isn't it? I think that is a major problem." Lawrenson told the Argus.
"There is nothing wrong with the defensively, and they keep the ball extremely well. I was at Old Trafford the other week and they deserved at least a point, if not all three.
"Goals win games as everyone knows, no matter what level they play at.
"They have improved though, every single year under the new manager, it is just frustrating how many of the games they have drawn.
"I would think it is frustrating for the supporters but if you said at the start of the season to have 33 points and be clear of the relegation zone with a quarter f the season left, I am sure they would have taken that as a Seagulls fan."
