Marc Overmars has been named as the new technical director at Royal Antwerp.
The former Arsenal and Barcelona star was recently stood down by Ajax after sending a series of 'inappropriate messages' to female colleagues.
However, according to De Telegraaf, Royal Antwerp view the incident as a 'private matter' and are focused on Overmars' footballing pedigree.
"What has happened at Ajax won't happen again," Overmars was quoted as saying.
"I am glad to be here. It is a new chapter for me. A beautiful challenge at a club where I see potential to grow."
