Kota Kinabalu: The State Government is expected to receive an annual grant of RM1.14 billion from the Federal Government this year.
State Assistant Finance Minister Jasni Daya at the Sabah Legislative Assembly today said the State Government received RM1.09 billion last year, while in 2020, it received RM1.13 billion.
Meanwhile, Special Tasks Minister Datuk Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif told the assembly the Sabah Islamic Religious Council (Muis) collected a total of RM122.53 million in tithes last year
In 2020, Muis collected RM101.79 million while RM89 million was collected in 2019.
