Leeds boss Jesse Marsch is happy with the length of his contract.

Marsch has signed a deal to 2025.

He said: "I appreciate the club was so convinced by me, they were willing to make a long-term commitment. I'm not looking for the best financial choice or the biggest club, it was finding people who cared about the same things I cared about.

"After three days, I can say in a very difficult situation it's been a joy.

"The project is three months and then the real development process starts in the summer.

"Focusing on stuff now is making sure game to game we improve, to fight for every second."

He also said today: "A lot of teams had developed match plans against the way the team had played here which were becoming easier to implement.

"We have to find the tactics that manage the situation effectively. We need to make sure in all moments, we are using the group. Set-pieces and dead-ball situations.

"There are a million things on my mind I want to implement, but important to make the simple things the clearest and then add complexities."
