Wolves midfielder Bruno Jordao says he is adjusting well to life in Switzerland, where he's on loan at Grasshopper Club Zurich.

The 23-year old's goal is to regain his full fitness and confidence throughout the remainder of his loan, with the aim of fighting for a spot in Bruno Lage's squad next season.

He told the club's website: “Life in Switzerland is good – if you compare the cities Zurich and Wolverhampton, there is a big difference. Zurich is a large city with beautiful mountain views, the restaurants and cafes are also good. The weather though is like the English weather – it's the same, its cold every day but I'm used to it.

“Everyone was warm and welcoming when I arrived here. It was easy to adapt to the new team in a new country because of that.

“When I returned to Wolves in the summer, I had surgery on a hamstring injury. I was initially assessed and sent for testing, and it was determined that I needed surgery; now, in January, I'm fully healed and have gone out on loan to improve on my fitness and confidence."

On manager Bruno Lage, Jordao added: "We agreed on the move to Grasshoppers to get me back to full fitness so that I can compete for a spot for next season. He expressed interest in me, but I need to be fit and ready for the next challenge since Wolves has a lot of big players. I need to be in top form to help the squad."
