421 new cases in Sabah today, lowest since Omicron wave started

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 421 new Covid-19 cases today, said an update, the lowest since the ongoing Omicron wave started early February.

Today was the first below-500 caseload since Feb 3 and 175 cases fewer than yesterday, said the update shared by Sabah's spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.

Fifteen districts saw a decline in new cases while nine others registered small increases.

Keningau's Access Menawo cluster was declared closed today, leaving 18 active clusters.

A total of 412 or 97.86 percent of today's cases were asymptomatic or light infections.
