LAHAD DATU: The Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) foiled an attempt to smuggle out 4,080kg of subsidised cooking oil following a raid at the Pangkalan Nelayan Silam Camp jetty, Tuesday night.
Lahad Datu Zone MMEA Director, Commander Nik Mohd Rizam Nik Mohd Fauzi said the 10.15pm raid was prompted by tip-off on suspicious activity being carried out at the jetty.
