Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers admits Tottenham on Sunday is a major test.

Rodgers has been impressed by how Antonio Conte has lifted Spurs since taking charge.

He said, "They're very well coached in the system they play, and it's tough to put pressure on them because they sit in a lower, or middle place in the park.

"I'd suspect they will want to press the game, and we will have to play through the pressure.

"I think the last game we played [after a European game, against Newcastle] was the first one we've lost off the back of a European night.

"We have to re-energise and recover as best we can, it's not a concern. It's been very challenging, but it's what we want. We'll freshen it up within the team, but put a team out to win the game."

On Jamie Vardy's fitness, Rodgers added: "I think he did incredibly [well] to play 20 minutes against Villa, and then an hour last night [against Roma].

"We'll have to assess whether he's fit enough to feature this weekend as a starter, or come on. But it's not just about fitness, it's about performance."

He continued: "There are a lot of young Leicester players looking to prove their consistency in the Premier League.

"I'm looking forward to going to an amazing stadium this weekend, and going there with the supporters.

"It's a part of the season where you're playing for the opportunity to get to a final. That lends a lot to the players to have something to aim for. We're not training so much, or have as intense training, there's a lot of playing and recovering."
