Brighton boss Graham Potter was proud of his players for victory at Tottenham.
The Seagulls were rewarded for their efforts when Leandro Trossard superbly tucked home in the 90th minute.
It was the Seagulls' first win at Spurs in 41 years and took the side within a point of equalling last season's best-ever Premier League tally of 41 points with six games still to play.
“The performance was fantastic and the players, to a man, were exceptional," said Potter “They all had an understanding of what we were trying to do and for Leo to pop up with the goal at the end made it an amazing day for us in front of our own supporters.
“It wasn't a lucky win; it wasn't a smash-and-grab from our perspective, it was really, really good performance and one we can be really proud of. I thought we deserved it.
“It felt like we had good control and that's not easy to do here. It was a hot day and we've got some young players out there who are adapting to the Premier League and getting better with all the experiences they have. I'm really proud of the players."
