Erik ten Hag has approved the sale of five senior Manchester United players.

ESPN says incoming manager Ten Hag will receive a budget of between £100million and £150m to sign players and kickstart the United rebuild.

However, that may not be enough for the current Ajax boss to acquire all of the stars that he requires.

They report that the 52-year-old has put Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Eric Bailly, Phil Jones, Anthony Martial and Alex Telles all 'up for sale' to fund potential signings.

Martial is currently out on loan at Sevilla, where he has failed to find the back of the net in eight league appearances, and although not a significant departure, would leave the manager short of more striker options.
