Fiorentina chief Daniele Prade drew a lot of positives from their Coppa Italia semifinal defeat to Juventus.
The 2-0 loss in Turin saw Juve reach the final this week.
"We are sorry, we came here to play our game. The defeat may seem heavy, but we dominated the game. Juventus are accustomed to winning and it's part of the game. Credit to the boss and the lads," Pradé told Fiorentina's official website.
“These 180 minutes leave a bitter taste in our mouths because we didn't see a big difference [between the two teams]. Now we must focus on the league because we have a tough game ahead. We are aware that we are working well. We have been working hard for nine months and we've taken giant steps. I am satisfied with what we are doing.
“We must become more clinical, but I see a bright future ahead."
