Serge Gnabry has returned to new contract talks with Bayern Munich.

A return to Arsenal has been mooted for the winger.

But their hopes of landing the German is looking less likely, as transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Bayern are in talks to extend his contract this summer.

Fabrizio stated: "While Bayern are working on final details to complete both Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui deals, the board is negotiating with Serge Gnabry's agents to discuss his contract extension."

He also added that Gnabry's guaranteed salary was an important factor in the negotiations as he allegedly earns £115,000 per week at Bayern, which would likely be increased dramatically.
