Kota Kinabalu: BIMP-EAGA Special Envoy for Sabah Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia urged Putrajaya officials and local other ranking government civil servants to stop using national security as alibi to stop or delay implementation of development projects in the BIMP-EAGA region.
He said it is also vital for ministers and heads of government both in peninsula and Sabah to fully understand the visions and objectives of BIMP-EAGA if Malaysia, particularly Sabah, wishes to benefit from the organization established more 27 years ago.
