Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is counting on their 6-0 home defeat to Chelsea being a blip.
Saints' biggest loss of the season, Hasenhüttl delivered a forthright assessment of his side's performance.
“We lost against a very good side today," he said. “A very aggressive side. They did all the things good that we didn't do good and they deserved the win, definitely, and we have to find very quick back to our basics.
“They had a tough week and showed how you should react. When they are playing like this I think they are a top class team and we are today far away from being competitive and that's the reason we deserved to lose.
“We have now time to work on that and hopefully show a different face next week. Definitely, we have to show up next week and definitely show a reaction.
“We seem to have one of these games one time a season and we need it to then step up again and show a different way of resilience, but you can be sure we will have a very tough week."
