Everton are extremely displeased at reports regarding striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin's future this week.

The centre-forward was linked with a move to Arsenal in the British press in the lead up to their crucial relegation six-pointer against Burnley on Wednesday.

The Toffees lost the game 3-2, and now find themselves only one point ahead of the relegation places.

Calvert-Lewin was the subject of a feature with the magazine GQ, where he talked about his upbringing in Sheffield and career at Everton.

He also mentioned that he wanted to win trophies, and the article also mentioned that he was on the brink of signing for Arsenal this coming summer transfer window.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Everton officials were furious at the comments in the article, saying it was disrupting the team's preparations for the Burnley game.
