Everton boss Frank Lampard does not agree with Burnley coach Sean Dyche's comments about his team.

Dyche was speaking after the Clarets defeated the Toffees in a relegation six-pointer on Wednesday.

Despite being 2-1 down at one stage of the game, Burnley went on to win 3-2 and pull to within a point of Everton in the standings.

Responding to Dyche's comments that Everton had forgotten how to win matches, Lampard said: "I think all the teams around us in the table have similar issues, whether it's home or away.

"You don't win enough football matches. Burnley have been the same. So that's just a reality of where we are - and the way we get out of it is by working.

"Everything's challenging, no matter this result. The challenge is to stay in the league, we've got nine games to do it, 27 points. We lost points that we should have gained because it wasn't a game to lose for us."
