Covid-19: Malaysia records 6,069 new cases, 31 fatalities

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia recorded 6,069 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours, a slight decline compared to 7,140 cases recorded the day before.

The nation also recorded 31 Covid-19 fatalities bringing the total to 35,449 deaths since the pandemic began.

Of the 6,069 new cases, 110 were imported cases and currently, there were 92,040 active Covid-19 cases.

In terms of the number of cases, the Klang Valley still recorded the highest daily cases, with 6,104 cases detected, yesterday.

Meanwhile, Klang Valley and Perak also have the highest number of Covid-19 deaths with 34 and 31 fatalities recorded respectively in the last 14 days.

To date, the country recorded 4,402,234 Covid-19 cases since the outbreak started.
