Dwight McNeil says Burnley interim coach Mike Jackson has given him his confidence back.
The Clarets have won twice and drawn once since Jackson replaced Dyche in the hotseat.
McNeil has been particularly impressive in wins against Southampton and Wolves, crediting Jackson with his improvement.
"When it changed, we had a little chat and it was a confidence thing for me and just getting my confidence back," McNeil told LancsLive. "I am enjoying my football at the moment. We have to stay focussed with some big games coming up before the end of the season
"He has given me the confidence back and got me believing in myself a bit more. He's given me some guidance and a bit more freedom to go and get on the ball. I still know what I have to do out of possession but it has been a really great week.
"We did it for the fans who have been with us every step of the way. We know it has been difficult for the club but I thought we were terrific in the last week and we've managed to get seven points."
