Arsenal director Edu backed Gabriel Jesus to be a success in the Premier League when speaking back in 2017.
Jesus joined Manchester City that year and has gone on to win three Premier League titles, whilst also notching 93 goals.
The Gunners are now considered one of the favourites to sign Jesus this summer, with the Brazilian seeking more opportunities away from City, who are favourites to sign Erling Haaland.
Edu was Brazil's general coordinator from 2016 to 2019 and he has spoken highly of Jesus.
"He works very hard. He is only 19 but he is very focused to do his job and focused to play well," Edu told the BBC World Service of Jesus in 2017.
"So, he lives as a professional, and for me, he can be very successful in the Premier League.
"He has to be focused in training and in the games.
"Lifestyle, family and friends has to be second plans."
