Arsenal are expected to submit a bid for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.
The Brazilian is entering the final year of his contract, and with City keen on Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, he could look to leave the Etihad.
The Gunners first made enquiries for Jesus in November, and football.london says an offer of £35m will be lodged this summer.
Mikel Arteta is desperate to sign a top-level forward this summer, with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah set to be free agents in June.
Roma striker Tammy Abraham is also being considered by Arsenal.
However, the north London club have been deterred by Roma's asking price of €80m.
It is the same price Chelsea can bring pay to bring Abraham back to Stamford Bridge, having inserted a buy-back clause in his contract upon his move to Rome in 2021.
