Brighton manager Graham Potter has praised his youngsters, saying there is plenty of ambition in his squad.

The Albion have gone through a massive shift in their footballing philosophy under Potter.

He has been keen to promote youth into the squad, while playing progressive, passing football for the majority of games.

He said of the team's quality, per The Argus: "It is credit to the players. They are ambitious. There are guys in there who are in their first seasons with a crowd in, and it is different when the crowd is in. Every Premier League is massive.

"You have got Moises Caicedo playing his fourth game and he is up against James Ward-Prowse and Oriol Romeu, who are seasoned pros and are as good as any pairing, I would say.

"You've got Rob Sanchez, Marc Cucurella is in his first season. They never give up, the boys, I can never fault them for going full tilt all game."
