Ralf Rangnick was pleased with Manchester United's performance against Chelsea on Thursday.

The Red Devils had only 13 senior players available but still managed to secure a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford, courtesy of an equaliser from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rangnick's side are now five points behind fourth-placed Arsenal, although the Gunners have two games in hand.

When asked if he saw his team display pride in front of their home supporters, Rangnick told reporters: "Of course, we were missing eight players in total, so we only had 13 players from the professional team available and bearing that in mind, I thought we showed a good attitude, at least in the second half.

"We were also physically better and had more shape and more organisation to get more control.

"It was still far away from controlling and commanding the game, but against a top team like Chelsea, I still think in the second half, I was quite pleased with the performance."
