Watford boss Roy Hodgson insists their Premier League survival chances are alive.
The Hornets are currently three points away from safety.
Hodgson said: "Burnley's victory (against Everton) pushed us a place back in the table, but the distance between all the teams down there is not huge and it is a distance we can do something about.
"We are all in battle together, and it is a battle that is up to us to win. I cannot criticise my team at the moment because I think they work as hard as we can expect and they do their best in every match.
"Even though we lost at the weekend, I would like to see more of the same against Leeds. We delivered a wholehearted performance, but we must become more effective in front of goal if our situation is to change."
