Kota Kinabalu: A 64-year-old man was freed by the High Court here from a charge of trafficking illegal immigrants.
Judicial Commissioner Amelati Parnell on Monday discharged and acquitted Badri Jalal without calling for his defence by ruling that the court found the prosecution had failed to prove a prima facie case against him.
