Jose Luis Mendilibar has been sacked by Alaves.
Mendilibar is dismissed eight games from the end of the LaLiga season and three months after his signing for the Vitorian club, making him the second coach to leave the Basque bench this year after by Javier Calleja.
The Biscayan coach had a fleeting stint at Alaves, as he coached in 12 games, with only one win, four draws and seven losses, which gave them 8 points out of a possible 36.
Now the bottom team in the standings, Alavés made the decision to change course due to these results, which left figures of nine goals for and 23 against.
Alaves are expected to name Mendilibar's replacement this week.
