Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was delighted with their 3-1 against Spezia on Friday night.

Inter won thanks to goals from Marcelo Brozovic, Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez.

“I think it was a victory of maturity and calm heads," Inzaghi told Sky Italia.

“We knew it would not be easy, as our first half performance was a bit static. I didn't like 10 minutes of the second half either, as we allowed them some chances right after the restart, but then earned an important victory for our journey."

He added, “It's important to have options off the bench. I chose two strikers, knowing I had another two plus Felipe Caicedo, who has been in better shape over the last month. I have to make that choice game by game.

“I believe all the forwards are compatible in various combinations."
