West Ham boss David Moyes was asked about the future of midfielder Declan Rice after the 1-0 defeat by Chelsea on Sunday.

The Hammers have no intention of selling the 23-year-old England international and Moyes said that he would cost £150m.

But after reports emerged that Rice had turned down a new contract offer, Moyes said: "Maybe he just wants more money? It's not unusual for players at clubs to turn down contracts. Maybe it's a negotiation tactic?"

Moyes said that Rice still had three-and-a-half years left on his contract, (understood to be two years, plus an option of a further year) so there was "no big panic" about his future.

"It's not the biggest priority this summer," he added.
