
KOTA KINABALU: Sabah registered 270 new Covid-19 cases today, 56 more than yesterday, according to the State’s daily update.
Some nine districts registered double-digit new cases, including Kota Kinabalu with 71, Penampang (38), Papar (26), Sandakan (15) and Tuaran (15), while 15 other districts recorded single-digit new cases.
Three districts, namely Telupid, Nabawan and Tongod, did not record any new infections today.
The percentage of sporadic infections is still high, at 61.48 per cent of all reported new cases.
The Jalan Kebulian Cluster in Kota Marudu ended today and to date, there are only three active clusters in Sabah.
Some 258 cases or 95.56 per cent new patients today were in Category 1 and 2, while three cases were in Category 3, four cases were in Category 4 and five cases were in Category 5.
