Manchester United caretaker manager Ralf Rangnick has been named new coach of Austria.
The 63-year-old German will take over at the end of May as preparations begin for the summer's Nations League games against Croatia, Denmark and France.
The contract with Rangnik is for two years. If the Austrian national team makes it to the final stage of Euro 2024, the agreement will be automatically extended for two years - until the 2026 World Cup in the USA.
Austria did not qualify for the 2022 World Cup, losing to Wales in the play-offs.
Rangnick will leave United at the end of the season when Erik ten Hag will step in as he departs Ajax.
